This wine was made under the direction of Antoine Van Remoortere who honed his craft across the world but most notably in South Africa and at Julien Zernott’s Pas de l’Escalette before taking over the family estate, Chateau de Maupas, and converting his favorite 4-hectare parcel to organics. Menetou Salon is just a few kilometers from Sancerre, and just like in Sancerre white wines are made with Sauvignon Blanc. 

This wine is grown on clay-limestone slopes of Frouchet and Reigny and is mineral-driven and focused. Classic Loire Sauvignon Blanc.
